Piip Messenger offers a unique approach to mobile text & chat, offering free mobile cross-platform messaging using wifi or your mobile data plan.

The whole thing runs smoothly & works very well. Personally 99% of my contacts have an iPhone, so I am unable to give direct feedback on the apps mobile cross-platform abilities, but such an app like this one is a well-worth download just based on this feature alone. One impressive feature worth mentioning has to be the apps ability to send your current location to the person who you’re chatting to in the form of a mapped message – very helpful & impressive.

Another noted feature that Piip Messenger has to offer is that in addition to the mobile messenger where you’ll obviously be chatting to your friends via your mobile device, there is also a web messenger that can accessed via a computer – enabling you to keep contact with your friends & continue your conversations away from your mobile device.
