The app’s title certainly does speak for itself, with 250 yoga poses displayed with the necessary instructions and photos accompanied by a soothing yoga sound, giving you the ability to have a realistic and effective yoga training session. During my yoga experience on my iPhone, I was very impressed with how easy it was to design my own workout program. This process simply involved choosing which poses I wanted to do & setting the duration of each chosen pose. The app functions very smoothly – even in circumstances where you were to receive an SMS or have to leave the app to read an email – fear not, as your workout will resume exactly at the place where it was left.
There are also some pretty impressive additional features, including a built-in calendar where you can view your past workouts and view daily inspirational quotes. In addition to some clever Facebook integration, you can also select & listen to your iPod music in the background during your workouts.
So in conclusion, I would strongly advise anyone interested in yoga apps to look no further. Easily the best yoga applications spread over the iOS & mac platforms.
