Workaholic is an iPhone app that automatically quantifies the time you spend at work, without affecting your battery.

Workaholic combines location information from cellular and wifi networks to determine your location while saving battery power. The time you spend at work is computed locally on the device, and your location is not shared with anyone.

Workaholic provides you with statistics on how many hours you spend at work each day, and your all time records.

Additionally, you can download via itunes a .csv file containing the output of the location algorithm, which you can use as input for your own data mining or visualization. Each row of the file contains a date and the amount of time spent at work on that day.

The app generally works really well. I was impressed with the option that allowed me to select & import my existing media from my device’s camera roll, this was sorted into the month & day when the media was originally added to my device.
