Would make a great electronic handbook for anyone who is interested in alternative medicine and/or is seeking to treat a condition with such sort of medicine and would like to do some prior research. Certainly an interesting app to refer to from time-to-time, though from looking at the app’s screenshot, you’ll probably assume that this woman just needs a general hangover tonic!

Using ancient Chinese medicine principles, you can learn about certain pressure points that are connected with each headache type, there are some basic pressure exercises for you to try (selected by licensed acupuncturists for your safety). iPhone users have the benefit of using the vibration treatment on these pressure points – unfortunately this isn’t available for iPod Touch users.

The downside to this application (at the time of writing) is that why St John Ambulance have to charge a fee for it. Surely their knowledge should be available to both those of us who can & cannot afford to pay for the app….
