Celebrity Mashup from Replace your Face

Being a fan of face enhancing themed apps, I was very interested when hearing about this app. The Replace Your Face app allows you to put your face on a variety of famous people (celebrities, big hair bands, mug shots, action heroes, wonder woman, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Robert Pattinson). You can select your face pics from your photo library, Facebook or taking a new picture with your devices camera, the following steps are then pretty straight forward and when you have chosen your celebrity you will need to carefully pinch & rotate your face into the correct position and proportion. I initially found this app entertaining, but soon got bored due to the fact that there is only one free image in each category, the rest are available in an in-app purchase which didn’t tempt me enough. Still, this app is certainly worth getting for some general entertainment.

The iMovie app is for the iPhone 4, users will have the ability to create & customize great looking home movies in the palm of their hand. With the ability of multi-touch, you’ll be able to do a variety of active enhancements. You can also add a theme to your movie, these include travel, modern, bright, playful and news. When you’re all done you have the option to sync the movie to your computer, share it with friends via email or even send it to YouTube.

FaceMix

Be prepared to create some strange looking faces! FaceMix allows you to merge a selection of up to 6 different face sections into one blended face. If you’re an iPhone user you’ll have the option take the pictures and add them as you go, or alternatively you can use some existing front face pictures from your image library. While this app is generally good fun & quite amusing it isn’t necessarily suitable for everyone as some of the editing can be quite advanced.
