The Airship application acts as a WiFi data transporter, it has the ability to transfer files between your computer and iPod Touch or iPhone using a wireless connection. Using your computers web browser, you can upload, download and manage your files – these are all viewable on your iTouch or iPhone. This app supports a large range of document file types, such as jpg, pdf, html, gif, xls – plus many more, including many video and audio formats.

For those of you who like to keep a record of past purchases, this may be the app for you. SpentOnApps displays your past iTunes purchases – this includes music/video & applications. This is attractively presented (as of the screenshot below) and includes some additional features, such as: an individual price break-down of each item that you have purchased, prices separated into categories and the ability to post your total spending amount on Twitter or Facebook (not sure why anyone would want to do this!).

The Find My Device app gives you the option to locate your iPod Touch or iPhone whenever you require. It’s main purpose is to help you locate your device at a time when you suspect its gone missing (lost, stolen etc..). This works by going online via your computer or laptop, visiting and logging in @ http://xandernet.net/login.php (where you would of previously registered your details) and viewing your lost device’s current location. The app has the ability to run even when your device is locked – it is recommended that you leave this app running (when not using your device) for full effect + setting the location update to every 30 minutes. Also has the ability to post twitter updates of the device’s current location.

No need to bother buying yourself a wireless mouse when you can use your iPod Touch or iPhone as one! With this app, not only do you have yourself a virtual mouse for your computer – it can also be used as a virtual keyboard. You can use this app on both windows & Mac, you will need a wireless router active, plus you’ll need to download the the developers (imouse) server software from this URL: http://www.imousekeyboard.com. The Wireless Mouse app is a great alternative option to have in regards to the standard wired mouse, this would be ideal & convenient for those giving group or conference presentations, needing freedom away from their computer or laptop.

We’re all fed up with those anoying blood sucking mosquitos. With this app you can drive those pests away, this is done by using a high frequency tone of 17kHz approx (the tone is unhearable to humans) that will potentially make them go away. Once you have downloaded the app, turn your iPod Touch or iPhone volume to maximum and then turn on the Anti-Mosquito tone button – located on the bottom right of your screen. A great app to have if you’re away on your travels or camping.

Using the app’s compass, your GPS location and your device’s tilt ability will help find you the perfect spot to place the solar panel.

Making use of the many built in sensors that the iPod Touch & iPhone have, Ghost Radar measures electromagnetic fields, vibrations, and sounds to attempt to detect paranormal activity. This app is based on traditional paranormal equipment, the sensors will show any sudden “energy” changes and will translate them into words.

My personal experience with this app has shown some interesting results, however, to have this app show its full potential your device must be in a quiet place – away from any obvious vibration and noise.
